Linden & Oak was a full-suite commission: invitation, RSVP card, and details card, all single-color (deep ink black) but each piece hand-set separately since the RSVP and details cards carry different copy and layout rather than being a scaled-down repeat of the invitation. We ran all three on Crane’s Lettra Pearl White, duplexed, specifically for the deep, almost sculptural impression the couple wanted — visible and touchable from the front of the card, not just from a raking angle.
Suite work like this is priced and quoted as a set rather than per-piece, because the makeready (locking up the chase, setting roller height, dialing in impression depth) has to happen fresh for each of the three distinct forms even though they share one ink and one stock — the setup cost doesn’t shrink just because the pieces are related.
