This is the sheet we default to when a client hasn’t specified one, and the one most of our own broadsides ship on. 100% cotton rag content (no wood pulp) means it’s naturally acid-free and won’t yellow the way a wood-pulp “cotton-look” stock will after a few years on a wall or in a frame — a real difference on anything meant to last, not just look good on delivery day.
At 220gsm it’s substantial enough to hold a deep letterpress impression without the sheet cupping or the reverse side ghosting through, but still thin enough to duplex (glue two sheets face-to-face) for business cards without the finished card feeling like cardstock rather than paper. We buy it in bulk directly from the mill rather than through a distributor, which is also why we’re able to offer it to other print shops through this stock program rather than keeping it in-house only.
